A interesting thing in this art is the color and the light,
this background is wonderful and helped that manipulation to be better...it's really a great idea, very different and original.
i never had seen nothing like that before...not only a dark art but a conceptual too.
About the light, I think that the death clothes should be lighter...(the same to the hands...) the hands are a awesome detail that should be more visible.
another thing is the colors...i thought that the green on the globle should be removed...the colors should be from white>ciano>blue...nothing about green..

This art is really good...!

Very very interesting concept and must say that I absolutely love it.

The blue works so well here and you did great job on finding the perfect tone. Background is flawless,creepy misty forest is just perfect for the concept. There is really nothing that I would change here except the lighting,candles are a great touch to the image but I think that some parts of his robe and parts of the hands,foliage and water should be lightened because of the light of the candles. But then again it really depends on someones taste :)

All in all its a very good piece,beautifully done.
