"She's coming," told a ghost in a hushed voice. A woman didn't look back; she was still staring at her pearl-white sister, too frightened to speak. Her heart was beating very fast. She felt tears running down her face. Was it the end? Was she going to die now, at the Valley of Death? And what about her mission?
The phantom seemed to read her mind.
"You failed, failed like the others. Like me. And you knew, the price will be high..."
She broke and started crying silently.
And then, the woman heard paces. And suddenly it occurred to her, who was coming.
"Is it painful, Lily? Is death painful?" she whispered, horrified.
The torches flamed up. Eerie, blue light flickered on the arcades. The woman thought, that Lily wouldn't answer. But then, she heard her trembling voice.
The woman didn't believe. She was aghast, waiting there, on an earthy, dirty floor, bleeding and praying to gods. May it all end promptly.

By the way, I know the story is lousy, I just wanted to make you feel the atmosphere... a little bit. The death is much taller than normal human, because I thought it will emphasise her force and majesty... I give permission to all my clubs to display my work in their galleries.
